We promised we would restore the courtyard after our recent roof project — and now it’s time!
When we replaced the roofs and installed the new gutters, we also had to trim back trees and bring equipment through the property. That work left parts of the courtyard torn up. We knew the job wasn’t finished until we put the courtyard back together.
Over the next week, landscaping crews will begin the first phase of our courtyard improvements.
They will be:
- Filling holes and uneven areas
- Grading and adding soil where needed
- Adding decorative rock in problem areas where soil has been washing away
- Hydroseeding the courtyard to quickly establish new grass
Our goal is to head into winter with a refreshed courtyard that looks good and is ready for healthy grass growth. Together with the new gutters, these improvements should also help improve the drainage from the courtyard.
We Need Your Help!
Once the hydroseed is down, please stay off the newly seeded areas. That means no walking across the courtyard and absolutely no driving or parking on the seeded areas while the new grass gets established.
Fresh grass needs a little time and care to get started. Walking or driving over it can damage the new growth before it has a chance to take root.
